TFL are leading ISO 9001:2015 manufacturers and fabricators of customised leaked tested pressure vessels, vacuum chambers, precision tubes, specialist instruments and cylinders up to 8 tonnes in weight.

Manufacturing Facilities

Operating from two large well equipped fabrication and manufacturing facilities in Devon, TFL are able to offer excellent lead times on bespoke pressure vessels, vacuum chambers, specialist cylinders and welded tubes manufactured to high ISO 9001:2015 standards.

We are also are TUV (AD2000 HP0) approved for the manufacture and inspection of pressure vessels. Investment into a Helium leak testing facility has been installed with a purpose built unit equipped with an Alcatel ASM 181T Helium leak detection system with a sensitivity of: 2.0 x 10-12 mbar ls-1 (He) / 7.4 x 10-12 mbar ls-1 (Air).

A programme of constant investment has enabled Tiverton Fabrications to offer extensive TIG welding, orbital welding, CNC turning & machining, guillotining & cutting, metal rolling (bending), along with many other finishing and added value engineering services.

We have also invested heavily in the following inspection services:

– Helium leak detection facilities.
– Pressure testing up to 2 bar.
– Onsite CMM inspection, utilising a ten foot FARO arm.
– Magnetic permeability testing
– Dedicated surface finish testing
– Thread gauges external and internal inspection.
